Why is there such a heavy weight for women to be involved in the beauty industry?
My name is Alexis Zanaglio and I am a self taught makeup enthusiast. I have an extensive collection of makeup both high end and drug store brands as well as experience in the art of doing others makeup for important events and things of the nature. I am interested in this topic because I feel like it's something that many people, mostly women, never truly talk about. They simply conform to societies ideals on the subject and move on. My goal in creating this blog is to share my experiences on why women feel as though makeup is a necessity along with my ideas as to why the beauty industry has grown into a multi-million dollar money maker over the past few year.
